To rent a self-drive car, you need a valid driving license, government-issued photo ID (like Aadhaar/Passport), and sometimes a security deposit. Foreign nationals must provide an international driving permit along with their passport. These documents ensure safe, verified rentals for all customers.
No, a physical or original driving license is mandatory. However, you can use a digital copy (DigiLocker or mParivahan) for verification, but the original must be shown at the time of pickup.
Yes, the security deposit is fully refundable. It is usually returned within 4 days after the car is returned, subject to no damages or traffic challans.
